KARACHI: Swedish Ambassador Ingrid Johansson asked Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Sindh Shah and discussed bilateral issues and investment opportunities in Sindh.
The prime minister said that there were great runners wind and solar power in the province where huge investment opportunities are available. He added that in the Thar coalfield there are vast coal reserves on China, Australia and some other countries have started to work. Sindh government is also working with Engro – together to establish power plant coal power.
The ambassador said he would talk about opportunities in the energy sector with its government and business community. He also spoke of the problems of heat stroke due to the sweltering heat of time with the head of government. The Chief Minister informed about its rapid response centers created throughout the city of Karachi to address cases.
