ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Lieutenant General (r) Abdul Qayyum said on Saturday that the head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan made papers Panama had a political issue.
Speaking on state television, he said Imran had admitted that it had established an offshore company when he was playing cricket in the UK.
He said that although the name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is not mentioned in the documents of Panama however, had submitted himself and his family for accountability.
Qayyum said the prime minister had written a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan for the establishment of a judicial commission to conduct research on the documents of Panama.
Accountability should it be done across the board against all corrupt, he added.
